The centre piece locomotives appear behind the virtual stands in the exhibition halls. Each locomotive is a photograph of a model or real locomotive, which promotes, or is sponsored by, a stand, company or society.

Currently we have 37201 in Hall 1. This is a 00 lima model owned by Mike Slater-Jones and sponsored by S-J IT Solutions Ltd, his company behind Slater Jones Sidings.

In Hall 2, the Talyllyn Railway have their loco Dolgoch on display, and is promoting the boiler appeal for this locomotive.

If you would like to have a centre piece locomotive in one of our halls, please use the contact us page or the live chat facility.

You must own the copyright to any photograph you send us, and have a stand at the exhibition.

Preferably please try to send us a photograph in the same orientation of the loco in Hall 1 and with either a white background or a background where the loco stands out. This will make it easier to remove the background and place the loco on the Hall image so it looks as real as possible.

Apart from Hall 1 (in which 37201 is a permanent exhibit), all centre piece loco's will be removed/replaced on a monthly basis.

If the centre piece loco is promoting a layout, society or club, then this will be free of charge.

If the centre piece loco is promoting a shop, service or company then this will be available at a reduced cost of £5 for each month it is in place for a limited time.
